The Sunday following Easter is called Divine Mercy Sunday and falls on April 11th this year. A plenary indulgence may be gained by those who take part in prayers in honor of the Divine Mercy.
In addition, a plenary indulgence may be gained by those who, in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament exposed or in the tabernacle, recite the Our Father, the Creed and add a devout prayer to the Merciful Lord Jesus, such as "Merciful Jesus, I trust in You!". Those who, for just cause, cannot get to church to pray before the tabernacle may say these prayers in front of an image of the Divine Mercy to gain the plenary indulgence.
The usual conditions to gain a plenary indulgence must also be met. These are detachment from sin; which is a true sorrow for, and repudiation of, all one’s sin, mortal and venial; sacramental confession, Eucharistic communion and prayer for the intentions of Supreme Pontiff. If all the conditions are not met, a partial indulgence will be gained.
