Candlemas will be celebrated Tues., Feb. 2 with a blessing of candles, procession and High Mass. If you are bringing candles to be blessed, they should be unscented and preferably 51% beeswax. The candles, after the blessing, are sacramentals for use during devotions and times of trouble, such as severe storms.
